1. Information We Collect

  Your journal entries, mythic rewrites, AR anchors, drawings, and photos — stored only on your device.

  Optional iCloud sync (via private CloudKit) if you enable it — your data is end-to-end encrypted and Apple cannot read it.

  Device permissions you explicitly grant: Camera (AR Memory Palace), Microphone (voice-to-text), Photos, Location (optional tagging), HealthKit, and Calendar — used only for the features you activate.

  We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Data

Everything stays on your device to power the experience:

• Apple Intelligence (on-device) to rewrite entries as mythic prose
• AR Memory Palace to anchor memories in physical space
• Symbol & archetype detection using on-device NaturalLanguage
• Daily mythic prompts based on your HealthKit & Calendar context
• Streak tracking and legend level system

3. We Do Not Share Your Data

Mythic Diary does not sell, rent, or share your entries with any third party. No analytics, no advertising, no data brokers.

4. Storage & Security

All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Optional iCloud sync uses Apple’s private CloudKit containers — only you can access it. We cannot read your journal, even if we wanted to.

5. Your Rights

You can delete any entry or the entire app at any time — all your data is removed from your device. To delete iCloud data, simply turn off iCloud sync and delete the app.

6. Children’s Privacy

Mythic Diary is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. All features are designed for personal, private use.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top will always show the latest version. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
